However, when there are many moisture monitoring points, it is hard to work in the field with this method, and its data accuracy is lower than that of the drying method.
The tachymeter instrument method makes use of more mature electronic equipment, such as soil moisture monitoring stations, which have the advantages of easy operation, uniform data accuracy, unattended operation and remote monitoring.
The soil moisture monitoring station is an instrument that can automatically detect soil moisture. It mainly monitors soil moisture content and soil temperature, and measures the volumetric water content (VWC) and temperature values of the soil through moisture sensors and temperature sensors. It uses data wireless transmission to transmit data in real time to a web server for remote monitoring.
