Greenhouses are a highly enclosed agricultural production environment, where the moisture required for crop growth is entirely dependent on artificial irrigation, as natural rainfall cannot be utilised directly. In greenhouses, soil moisture monitoring is a common method to guide irrigation.
Crops can't grow without the land, so in addition to watching the weather, it's important to understand the land. Planting according to the characteristics of the land leads to better yields. Soil moisture monitoring was created to know the soil conditions more accurately and to help farmers decide when to plant seeds, apply fertiliser and combat drought.
A soil moisture monitoring system automatically monitors the temperature and humidity of the soil. It uses sensors and a software platform to collect data. Users can arrange the sensors as needed and can also place them at different depths to measure soil moisture. The system can also add other sensors to monitor more soil and weather information to make the system more powerful.
Various power supply options, such as solar panels, batteries or utility power, ensure that the system can work normally even in power outages or rainy weather, and consume very little power.
The cloud platform can flexibly adjust the frequency of data collection and storage, build a database and track changes in moisture throughout the process. It also generates reports and graphs, analyses data visually, provides alarm functions, and supports data export and printing to provide decision support for moisture management.
Data collection will not be affected when there are problems with power supply and wireless transmission. In the event of a power failure, the Soil Moisture Monitoring Terminal will save the data and automatically download the untransmitted data after the problem is solved. Even if the power supply is permanently disconnected, the saved data will not be lost.

A miniature weather monitoring station is a device for measuring, recording and transmitting meteorological data, which usually consists of multiple sensors that can measure a wide range of meteorological parameters such as temperature, humidity, barometric pressure, wind speed, wind direction, rain...
As the scale of the power grid continues to expand, the number and length of transmission lines are also growing rapidly, posing increasing challenges to traditional transmission line inspection methods. Traditional inspection methods not only involve a huge workload but also have many shortcomings,...
Deploying field intelligent meteorological observation stations in agricultural areas to build a meteorological monitoring network covering the entire region and accurate to the kilometre level allows for continuous intelligent monitoring of soil moisture and climatic conditions. By analysing the ke...
Air quality has a far-reaching impact on human health and the ecological environment. Along with the rapid progress of industrialisation and urbanisation, the problem of air pollution has become increasingly serious. This situation not only poses a threat to people's health, but also has a serio...
