The Gridded Mini Air Quality Station is an automated environmental monitoring system that can independently collect, store, transmit and manage data without the need for human guards. Such a system is capable of monitoring environmental quality on a continuous basis, mainly providing real-time data on key air indicators such as PM10, PM2.5, sulphur dioxide, nitrogen dioxide, carbon monoxide and ozone. It also has the capability to monitor other specific pollutants such as volatile organic compounds (VOCs), chlorine, hydrogen sulphide, ammonia, etc., allowing flexibility to expand the monitoring programme.
This IoT technology-based grid-based air quality monitoring station has a modular design that enables fully automated operation in harsh environments without the need for human supervision. It supports real-time monitoring and transmission of data via RS485 or wireless network, and integrates the data into the "IoT Big Data Transmission Platform", which provides a solid data support for the realisation of refined environmental monitoring.
The miniature air quality monitoring station is equipped with various alarm mechanisms, such as exceeding alarms when the concentration of pollutants is detected to exceed the safety threshold, and power failure alarms when the monitoring equipment is disconnected, which enable the monitoring station to quickly identify equipment failures or abnormal changes in the environment.
