Building a smart irrigation district starts with online flow monitoring in river - irrigated areas.
Open Channel Flow Monitors are applicable to flow measurement of rectangular, trapezoidal open channels and culverts in reservoirs, rivers, water conservancy projects, urban water supply, sewage treatment, farmland irrigation, water administration and water resources, etc. In river - irrigated areas, they can meet the requirements of water resource management for flow data and provide basic data for the construction of smart irrigation districts. Radar open - channel flow meters utilize the principle of the Doppler effect. When in operation, they generate electromagnetic waves towards the water surface. When the electromagnetic waves encounter the moving water surface, they are scattered to form echoes. The frequency of the received echo has a deviation compared with the transmitting frequency. The water surface velocity can be obtained through the Doppler frequency equation. A moving target generates a low - frequency output signal at the radar sensor. The frequency of the signal depends on the moving velocity, and the amplitude depends on the distance, reflectivity and size of the moving target. The Doppler frequency shift is proportional to the moving velocity. The fixed - point radar flow meter system can be connected to multiple radar probes, which is equivalent to laying multiple measurement vertical lines. The cross - sectional flow can be calculated according to the cross - sectional parameters, enabling a comprehensive and accurate grasp of the water flow conditions at different positions in the irrigation district channels and providing detailed data for water resource allocation and management decisions in smart irrigation districts.
Open - channel flow meters are flow meters with free - surface natural flow in non - full - pipe or open - channel conditions. Different from closed full - pipe flow meters, open - channel flow meters based on the open - channel principle are inexpensive and easy to use. This makes it feasible in terms of cost and operation to deploy flow meters on a large scale for online monitoring in river - irrigated areas, enabling the establishment of an economically and efficiently flow monitoring network, realizing real - time control of the water resource flow situation in the irrigation district, facilitating scientific and rational irrigation scheduling and water resource allocation, reducing water resource waste, improving irrigation efficiency, and promoting the development of the irrigation district towards intelligence.

The rapid development of industrialisation has led to air pollution, which refers to the accumulation in the atmosphere of substances released by human activities or natural processes to a certain extent, causing negative impacts on human beings and the environment.China's air pollution is chang...
The GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) monitor is a displacement measuring device based on the global navigation satellite system. When in operation, the antenna of the monitor fully receives satellite signals, which contain crucial information such as satellite orientation and time. The rece...
