The Radar current meter is a hydrological measurement device integrating multiple advantages. Working Principles
Water Level Measurement: The device operates based on radar principles. The radar emits electromagnetic waves, which reflect upon encountering the water surface. The all-in-one machine receives the reflected electromagnetic waves and accurately calculates the water level height based on the time difference between transmission and reception, combined with the propagation speed of radar waves.
Flow Velocity Measurement: It utilizes the Doppler effect of radar waves on water surface movement. When the water surface flows, the frequency of the reflected radar waves changes. The device analyzes this frequency change to accurately deduce the flow velocity.
