The Air Quality Monitoring Station is a miniaturized, intelligent, and grid-based air quality monitoring device. It integrates multiple sensors, enabling real-time and accurate monitoring of various key indicators in the air. With the help of IoT technology, the collected data is quickly transmitted to cloud platforms or relevant regulatory authorities.
The Air Quality Monitoring Station monitors a wide range of indicators, including various pollutants that have a significant impact on air quality. These include PM2.5 and PM10, two common air pollutants with tiny particle sizes. In particular, PM2.5 can penetrate deep into the human respiratory system, posing a serious threat to health. The Air Quality Monitoring Station also tracks nitrogen oxides, which mainly come from motor vehicle exhaust, industrial waste gas emissions, etc., and are important precursors for acid rain and photochemical smog. Ozone is another monitored indicator; when its concentration is too high near the ground, it can irritate the respiratory tract and cause physical discomfort. Carbon monoxide, a colorless, odorless but highly toxic gas, mainly produced by incomplete combustion of carbon-containing fuels, is also monitored. The real-time monitoring of these pollutants by the Air Quality Monitoring Station allows us to keep track of the pollutant situation in the air.
It can achieve high-density monitoring coverage. In the past, cities mainly relied on a limited number of large-scale air quality monitoring stations to grasp air quality conditions. However, these stations are sparsely distributed, making it difficult to accurately reflect the actual pollution situation in various regions, leaving significant regulatory gaps. In contrast, the Air Quality Monitoring Station, with its small size and easy installation, can be deployed in large numbers in urban areas. For example, it can be reasonably placed in different functional areas such as communities, schools, hospitals, industrial parks, and traffic arteries, forming a dense monitoring network that refines air quality monitoring to every corner of the city.
Moreover, it monitors the surrounding air quality 24 hours a day without interruption. Once there is a sudden increase in the concentration of pollutants in the air, the Air Quality Monitoring Station can quickly detect it and upload the data in real-time. Staff from relevant departments can obtain this information immediately through a dedicated monitoring platform. When the pollutant concentration exceeds the preset warning limit, the Air Quality Monitoring Station will immediately issue an alarm. At this point, the ecological environment department can quickly identify the source of pollution based on the alarm and carry out traceability investigations to accurately locate the source of pollution. For instance, if the Air Quality Monitoring Station in a certain area detects an abnormal increase in PM10 concentration, an investigation may reveal that it is caused by dust from nearby construction site operations. Relevant departments can then promptly take measures, such as requiring the construction site to strengthen sprinkling to reduce dust and cover materials, to control pollution and effectively reduce the impact on the living environment of surrounding residents.

Building an Atmospheric Environment Monitoring System requires consideration from multiple aspects. First, regarding site layout, scientific planning should be carried out based on factors such as urban functional zoning, population distribution, and the location of pollution sources. Urban points f...
An air quality monitoring station is a technical system used for real - time monitoring of pollutant concentrations in the atmosphere. It can monitor air quality in real - time and give early warnings of pollution incidents. This system typically consists of sensors, data acquisition devices, data t...
Transmission lines often extend over tens or even hundreds of kilometres, traversing diverse terrain such as hills and plains, passing through farmland, villages, industrial areas and forests. Due to the variable geographical and climatic conditions along the route, transmission lines are exposed to...
The measurement of rainfall and water level can provide early warnings of floods, thus buying time for the evacuation of people and materials. In terms of water resource management, it serves as a basis for the rational allocation of water resources, ensuring the water demands of various fields are...
