An Online Dust Monitoring System is a device used to monitor airborne dust particles, operating on the principle of pump-based sampling. Pump-based sampling refers to using a built-in micro vacuum pump or air pump as a power source to actively draw ambient air at a constant flow rate through a sampling tube into the detection chamber of the monitor. Inside the detection chamber, the instrument analyzes particle concentration using the light scattering principle: when laser light irradiates dust particles in the air, scattered light is generated. The intensity of this scattered light is correlated with the concentration and particle size of the dust. Optical sensors monitor the scattered light signals, convert them into electrical signals, and calculate the concentration of airborne dust particles through algorithmic processing.
The pump-based sampling method overcomes the impact of natural wind speed on sampling, ensuring stable sampling flow rates and improving the accuracy and reliability of monitoring data. Compared to passive sampling, pump-based sampling collects air samples more efficiently, particularly in low-wind or complex environmental conditions, ensuring consistent and representative sampling. Such monitors typically feature data collection, storage, transmission, and remote monitoring functions, enabling real-time and continuous monitoring of airborne dust particle concentrations. They can also measure meteorological parameters such as temperature, humidity, wind speed, and wind direction, as well as other environmental parameters like noise, providing comprehensive monitoring of environmental conditions.
Online Dust Monitoring Systems are widely used for dust monitoring in urban environmental management, construction sites, industrial parks, road construction, mining operations, storage yards, ports, and other venues, providing a scientific basis for effective control of dust pollution and improvement of air quality.

When the components in the air such as sulfur dioxide, nitrogen oxides, carbon monoxide, and hydrocarbon compounds exceed the standards, pollution follows. Sulfur dioxide mostly comes from the combustion of industrial fuels, and factory chimneys often emit large amounts of exhaust gases. Nitrogen ox...
