The online chlorophyll sensor detects chlorophyll content in water based on its fluorescence and light absorption properties. It can non-destructively monitor various water chlorophyll data in real time, adapting to multiple water quality monitoring scenarios.
The online chlorophyll sensor is a specialized detection device in the field of water quality monitoring. Its core functionality relies on the fluorescence and light absorption properties of chlorophyll itself. During operation, water is illuminated by a specific wavelength light source or natural light. The chlorophyll in the water absorbs light energy and produces fluorescence. The fluorescence intensity is directly proportional to the chlorophyll content. By accurately capturing and detecting the fluorescence values, the device can calculate the specific chlorophyll concentration in the water. This detection method is scientific and highly stable.
The online chlorophyll sensor boasts excellent detection performance, with an official calibration range of 0-400 ug/L, a resolution of up to 0.01 ug/L, and a detection fitting accuracy R² greater than 0.999. It can capture minute changes in chlorophyll content in water. The equipment is equipped with an automatic temperature compensation system to counteract the interference of ambient temperature fluctuations on the detection data, avoid numerical deviations caused by temperature differences, and ensure detection accuracy under different operating conditions. Simultaneously, the equipment has a built-in automatic cleaning device with a power consumption of only 0.7W, supporting customized cleaning time and cleaning frequency. This effectively prevents microorganisms and impurities in the water from adhering and contaminating the light window, solving the problems of equipment buildup and data drift during long-term monitoring, and significantly reducing the frequency of equipment maintenance.
Compared to traditional laboratory sampling and testing methods, the biggest advantage of the online chlorophyll sensor is its real-time, rapid, and non-destructive detection. It eliminates the need for collecting and transporting water samples, allowing direct in-situ online monitoring of water conditions, eliminating errors and data lag issues arising from sampling and sample preparation processes. The equipment is widely adaptable to various scenarios, including monitoring natural water bodies such as rivers, lakes, ponds, and oceans, while also covering aquaculture and drinking water source management.
