Soil moisture reflects the moisture condition of the soil, which is usually divided into four levels: wet, damp, moist and dry. Soil moisture monitoring equipment can monitor soil moisture in real time, help farmers understand soil moisture changes in time, guide them to irrigate reasonably, ensure healthy crop growth, and provide scientific basis for agricultural production.
Tube soil moisture sensor uses FDR technology to measure the moisture content of different soil layers by monitoring the frequency change of electromagnetic wave propagation in the soil. The sensor has a temperature, humidity and electrical conductivity (EC) monitoring point 10cm below ground and additional monitoring points every 10cm to observe soil moisture conditions.
This sensor is suitable for use in a variety of applications, including scientific experiments, water-saving irrigation, greenhouse cultivation, grassland management, rapid soil testing, plant cultivation, wastewater treatment, and grain storage, to measure moisture and temperature in particulate matter.
