The wave height measurement instrument is a professional hydrological monitoring device capable of accurately measuring wave parameters and water level height in water bodies. It is widely deployed in marine, port, reservoir, and lake water environment monitoring sites, providing reliable data support for water environment data acquisition.
Internally, the wave height measurement instrument integrates a low-power microprocessor and a 24-bit high-precision AD converter, working in conjunction with the capacitive wave height sensor to complete signal acquisition. The integrated body structure simplifies on-site installation, allowing personnel to deploy the equipment without complex assembly procedures. Furthermore, the integrated design reduces the probability of internal components being corroded by external moisture, effectively improving the overall operational stability of the equipment. The data transmission process utilizes RS485 long-distance communication technology, effectively resisting various signal interferences during long-distance data transmission and ensuring the complete and timely transmission of monitoring data back to the control center.
In actual monitoring work, the wave height measuring instrument can accurately measure wave-related parameters generated by free fluids and real-time water level. The equipment has low power consumption, with a rated power consumption of less than 0.5W, and can operate continuously for extended periods with a DC12V power supply, making it suitable for long-term unattended monitoring scenarios in the field. The instrument has a measurement range of 0-2000mm, a resolution of 0.1mm, a measurement accuracy of ≤0.1% F.S., and a sampling frequency greater than 100Hz, enabling it to quickly capture wave fluctuations without missing short-term wave height variations. The contactless sensing method avoids the wear and tear and jamming problems common in traditional mechanical wave height measurement equipment. The equipment exhibits excellent linearity, fast response speed, and stronger long-term operational reliability, thus reducing maintenance workload.
Wave height data in marine port areas is crucial for various tasks, including shipping scheduling and coastal protection.
