Soil moisture is a core indicator of soil moisture required for crop growth, and comprehensive, scientific and realistic data on soil moisture changes can be obtained through monitoring. These data play a key role in the formulation of effective drought prevention and water-saving irrigation strategies, and are of great reference value in ensuring crop yields and optimising water resource allocation. Therefore, under the current situation, it is particularly important to grasp the drought situation in a timely manner, which is the basis for effectively coping with drought and guaranteeing the rational allocation of water resources. In this context, strengthening the monitoring of soil moisture is undoubtedly the core and focus of the current work.
Agricultural moisture monitoring system realises accurate monitoring of soil moisture in farmland by constructing meteorological moisture stations, thus providing scientific data support for crop irrigation decision-making. At the same time, the system can also comprehensively monitor the meteorological environment of the farmland site, promote the digital management of farmland, and further assist the information construction process of smart agriculture. This comprehensive monitoring tool not only improves the efficiency of agricultural production, but also provides a strong technical guarantee for the sustainable development of agriculture.
Through regular collection of meteorological moisture data measured at each monitoring station, we have constructed a soil moisture database in the monitoring area. These data are processed and analysed to generate a variety of information products that provide timely and effective services for agricultural production. These services include, but are not limited to, real-time monitoring of soil moisture, reasonable irrigation recommendations for farmland, selection of suitable crops, and prediction of drought conditions. These accurate data and analyses provide strong decision support for agricultural producers, helping them to achieve more scientific and efficient agricultural production.
Continuous monitoring of soil moisture and accurate knowledge of soil moisture changes are crucial in guiding farmers to take timely and effective field management measures. This is of great practical significance in combating drought, increasing production and promoting agricultural development.
