This system, based on the arc-shaped synthetic aperture radar technology developed by Sun Yat-sen University, provides non-contact, high-precision monitoring of slope deformation. The lightweight and portable design makes it suitable for various harsh environments, mitigating the risk of secondary disasters at rescue sites.
During emergency rescue operations, landslides and soil collapses are persistent threats to the safety of rescue personnel and equipment. Traditional monitoring devices are bulky, cumbersome, and time-consuming to deploy, making rapid deployment to disaster sites difficult. This landslide early warning system, built upon research from Sun Yat-sen University, incorporates an independently developed arc-shaped synthetic aperture radar system and phase differential interferometry technology. Employing non-contact remote sensing monitoring, it continuously collects data on landslides, dams, and affected buildings, promptly disseminating early warning information and reducing the risk of secondary disasters at the source.
The slope early warning system adopts an edge computing architecture, integrating all functions such as positioning, data processing, and wireless transmission within the device itself, eliminating the need for extensive external hardware. Weighing less than ten kilograms, its compact folded size (less than fifty centimeters) allows for easy transport by a single person or as carry-on luggage to disaster areas. Upon arrival, it can be quickly assembled and deployed, immediately commencing slope monitoring.
The system boasts 360-degree omnidirectional monitoring capabilities, with deformation measurement accuracy down to 0.1 millimeters. Monitoring operations are unaffected by complex environmental conditions such as clouds, rain, fog, dust, and open flames, allowing for continuous 24/7 operation. During development, the hardware configuration was optimized for emergency rescue scenarios, achieving lightweight and low-power modifications, placing the device among the industry leaders in portability and battery life. In various emergency rescue scenarios such as mine collapses, flash floods, and road slope hazards, this mountain slope early warning system can continuously capture subtle displacement changes in the soil and rock mass. Staff rely on the monitoring data to assess the stability of the slope, rationally plan the emergency rescue operation area, and ensure the smooth progress of the entire emergency rescue work.
Soil moisture monitoring is of great necessity. Firstly, moisture determines the survival of crops. Soil moisture monitoring can keep track of soil moisture in real - time, ensuring the survival of crops. When there is a lack of water, irrigation can be carried out in a timely manner, and when there...
The construction of ship weather stations is not only of great significance to marine scientific research, but also plays a very important role in safeguarding the development of the national economy. With the rapid development of my country's socialist modernization construction and the signifi...
Monitoring wind speed and direction is extremely critical for multiple industries such as fisheries, meteorology, industry, mining and healthcare. As wind power technology evolves and environmental standards improve, the demand for accuracy and performance of wind speed and direction measurement equ...
In the complex process of sewage treatment, the concentration of suspended solids (sludge) is a crucial indicator that affects the entire treatment process and final water quality. Suspended solids refer to the solid substances intercepted on a filter and dried to constant weight at 103–105°C afte...
