The IV curve is a crucial indicator of photovoltaic (PV) string performance. By measuring the current through the string at different voltages, a relationship curve between current and voltage—i.e., the IV curve—is plotted. Analyzing the IV curve can reveal various issues in the PV string, such as module degradation, hidden cracks, hotspots, etc., providing a basis for operation, maintenance, and fault diagnosis in PV power plants.

Series power supply is a portable device specifically designed for PV power plant installation and maintenance personnel. It can test parameters of solar cell modules/arrays, including open-circuit voltage (Voc), short-circuit current (Isc), maximum power (Pmax), etc. Equipped with a high-precision irradiance meter and temperature sensor, it provides accurate on-site irradiance values and surface temperatures of solar cell modules.

Featuring integrated packaging technology, it supports touchscreen and keyboard operations. Peripheral interfaces enable storage expansion. The detection speed for a single module/string is only 10 seconds, and detection data can be exported with one key.

It has a built-in rich database of correction models for solar cell modules, covering products from most module manufacturers to provide references for conversion and comparison of test results. Users can also manually add test correction models.

Not limited to IV curve measurement, the device can also measure P-V curves, short-circuit current, open-circuit voltage, maximum power, voltage and current at the peak power point, etc.

Equipped with a large-capacity replaceable lithium-ion battery, it supports Bluetooth/Wi-Fi wireless transmission to synchronize data in real time to mobile terminals or cloud platforms, meeting the efficient operation needs of third-party testing institutions and power plant maintenance. The calibration database editing function allows users to set test calibration parameters independently.
