This is an automatic monitoring instrument of BOD, what is BOD? Its refers to biochemical oxygen demand (biochemical oxygen consumption), there are some aerobic microorganisms in the water body, under certain temperature conditions, will decompose the organic matter in the water body into inorganic substances, the amount of dissolved oxygen required in this oxidation process, which is BOD. through it, it can show the content of aerobic pollutants in the water body. Therefore, BOD can show the current pollution level of the water body. Especially in those factory discharges and polluted water bodies, the degree of pollution of the water body can be monitored using BOD.
The higher the BOD value, the more serious the pollution of the water body. Water pollution is one of the current very serious pollution problems, when the water source is polluted, the organisms in the water will suffer from pollution, which contains toxins through the food chain enriched into the human body, causing chronic poisoning. Therefore, we need to pay attention to the pollution monitoring and protection of water.
