The seven-element automatic weather station is a highly integrated, low-power, rapidly installable, and convenient high-precision automatic meteorological observation device for field monitoring. This equipment requires no debugging, can be quickly deployed, and is widely used in meteorology, agriculture, forestry, environmental protection, marine science, airports, ports, scientific research, and educational institutions. Its core innovation lies in the use of a seven-element integrated sensor, integrating wind speed, wind direction, temperature, humidity, air pressure, illumination, and optical rainfall into a single sensor, enabling 24-hour continuous online monitoring of outdoor meteorological parameters and outputting all seven parameters to the user at once via a digital communication interface.


Compared to traditional ultrasonic weather stations, the seven-element automatic weather station overcomes the need for high-precision timers and avoids measurement inaccuracies caused by sensor start-up delays, demodulation circuit delays, and temperature variations. Traditional ultrasonic weather stations rely on high-precision timers to measure the propagation time of ultrasonic waves in the air to calculate wind speed and direction. However, timer accuracy is significantly affected by temperature, and delays in sensor start-up and demodulation circuits easily introduce measurement errors. The seven-element automatic weather station uses a continuous frequency conversion ultrasonic signal transmission principle, detecting wind speed and direction by measuring the relative phase, thus fundamentally avoiding the timer accuracy dependency problem.


In terms of hardware design, the seven-element automatic weather station's sensor top cover features a concealed ultrasonic probe design, avoiding interference from rain, snow accumulation, and natural wind obstruction. The sensor housing is made of imported ASA material, effectively resisting corrosive environments such as salt spray, achieving a protection level of IP65 or higher. The equipment comes standard with a two-meter carbon steel bracket, allowing direct sensor mounting without a flange, simplifying the installation process. In terms of data transmission, the device comes standard with GPRS transmission and offers optional RJ45, Ethernet, 4-20mA, LoRa transparent transmission, 4G transparent transmission, Bluetooth, and 485 to USB transmission to meet the communication needs of different scenarios.


The seven-element automatic weather station offers flexible power supply options, supporting either mains power or solar power. Solar power is provided by lead-acid batteries, with options including 30W 20AH, 50W 40AH, and 100W 100AH. The charging controller utilizes MPPT automatic power point tracking technology, improving efficiency by 20%. The data upload interval is adjustable from 1 minute to 1000 minutes. The device is equipped with an IoT data display, storage, and analysis platform, supporting PC-based standalone software for data reception, storage, viewing, and analysis, as well as an Android app for data reception.
